Destiny 2 Glitch allows you to start attack groups for 12 players

Destiny 2 fire strings typically have a maximum limit of six, but players have recently discovered a flaw to increase their size and are using the exploit to tackle the game’s attacks in huge groups.

Twelve-player parties can be a stupid change to a traditional MMO, but in Destiny it can transform even the deepest, darkest stone crypt into a bustling space party. How Forbes reports, the flaw has been known to some Twitch streamers and other players for several weeks, but has only just begun to spread to the wider community as explanatory videos detailing the trick circulating on YouTube.

Here is an example from YouTuber Scrub, which attributes the discovery to Twitter user ChildCelebrity:

Players are conducting these encounters by creating two separate invasion teams and combining them at the last second before starting the activity. When timed correctly, the two groups will land together, allowing them to go through planned meetings for much smaller groups with relative ease and have fun in the process.

Destiny 2 became much more subject to insects in the past year, leading to problems in high-risk competitive activities like Trials of Osiris, as well as occasionally causing problems with solo mission progression missions. This failure of the raid party, on the other hand, is one of the coolest things that happened accidentally in the game since it was released. How Stone, paper, shotgunAlice O’Connor points, it can be very chaotic and incredibly charming to watch 11 other players try to solve raid puzzles.

Unlike many other flaws, this one doesn’t really seem to be hurting anyone. Of course, that doesn’t mean that Bungie won’t be able to fix it anytime soon, especially as more and more players try to reproduce it. The community manager of the studio tweeted menacingly about it last Friday, so if you’re looking forward to giving your own raid group, it’s best to try it sooner or later.
