Raiders’ head coach Jon Gruden may not have wanted to let the cat out of his sleeve on his starting quarterback, but his injury report probably ended
Derek Carr is uninjured for Saturday’s game, which means he must play against the Dolphins. Carr suffered a groin injury last week against the Chargers, but participated fully in training on Wednesday and Thursday.
Carr said this week he was feeling great, adding that he would do everything he could to play on Saturday.
Marcus Mariota was on the line to start if Carr couldn’t play.
Raiders have only two players with injuries. The defensive side Clelin Ferrell (shoulder) was declared out and the defensive tackle Maurice Hurst (calf) is questionable.
Las Vegas may have wide receiver Henry Ruggs back, as the club removed him from the reserve / COVID-19 list on Thursday.
According to Jerry McDonald of the Bay Area News Group, Gruden said that Ruggs “looked very good. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow. We hope it will be available for the game. “
However, Las Vegas will be thin on the linebacker. Nicholas Morrow was placed on the COVID-19 list, the day after his teammate Nick Kwiatkoski also joined the list. Morrow has played 13 games this season, starting with 10. He has 2.0 sacks, nine passes saved, seven tackles for defeat and an interception.
