TikTok star Dazharia Shaffer died at 18.
Known online as Bxbygirlldee, the father of the young star, Joseph Santiago, confirmed on a GoFundMe page that his daughter died earlier this week.
“On February 8, my dazharia daughter left us earlier and was called [sic.] to fly with the angels, “he wrote.” She was my best friend and I was in no way prepared to bury my son. “
The Baton Rouge coroner’s office confirmed to Fox News that she died of suicide, but Louisiana law prevents them from sharing anything else. They also said she died on Tuesday, not Monday, as her father said online.

In his post, Santiago reminded Shaffer to be “so happy” and “so excited” to see him when he “would come home after being on the road”.
“I just wish she had talked to me about her stress and suicidal thoughts,” he continued. “We could work it out. I just want to hold you again, my little jelly bean. Now I’m coming home and yours [sic.] it won’t be there waiting for me anymore. I have to let you fly with the angels. Daddy loves you. “
