Buffy actors Dave Boreanaz and James Marsters joined the chorus of voices to support the many actresses who allege misconduct against Joss Whedon. James Marsters, who played British vampire Spike in Buffy and Angel, also used social media to show his support for Carpenter, tweeting: “While I always have the honor of playing Spike’s character, Buffy’s scenario has had challenges. I do not support abuse of any kind and I am heartbroken to learn of the experiences of some of the cast.
