Aaron Rodgers was playfully reminded of a controversial moment for the Green Bay Packers during his debut as a guest host on “Jeopardy!”
In the episode that aired on Monday, Packers quarterback Rodgers asked contestants to identify the daytime TV personality who, in accepting an Emmy for his set of achievements, said “just take … 10 seconds to think of the people who helped you become who you are. “

But one competitor, Scott, boldly wrote: “Who wanted to kick that field basket?” – refering to This one called during the Packers’ NFC Championship clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Rodgers laughed at the gag.
“This is a great question, it must be correct,” he replied. “But, unfortunately for this game today, that is incorrect.”
Rodgers later reflected on the joke and the experience of filming the game show during an Instagram Live with his fiancee, actress Shailene Woodley.
“A little insight, as the host on my podium, I can see what they are writing. So, I saw him starting to write something about kicking the basket and then I had to get to my place and I didn’t see the rest of his writing [but] I knew there was going to be some kind of humor there, ”he said.
“I still don’t know why we kicked that field goal,” added Rodgers.
The quarterback also revealed that he has no plans to leave football – but does not rule out the possibility of hosting the game show again.
“I just won the MVP. I still have a lot in the tank. I’m still playing and I would love to introduce ‘Jeopardy!’ at the same time, ”he said. “‘Danger!’ films five shows a day, 46 days a year, 230 episodes, and I work six months a year, so in the other six months I would probably have time to film 46 days, I think.
