Young Pharaoh, a speaker scheduled at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), was withdrawn from the conference after his previous comments pressing anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories have resurfaced.
Young Pharaoh – an online commentator and cultural critic who has more than 90,000 followers on Facebook and almost 60,000 followers on Twitter – made previous comments denying the existence of the Jewish people and Judaism.
In a Twitter post of July 16, 2020, Pharaoh wrote that Judaism was “COMPLETELY CREATED FOR # POLITICAL GAIN”. In a July 29, 2020 post, he stated that Jews are responsible for all censorship and pedophilia on social media. In a post on January 4, 2021, he referred to followers of the religion as “STEALER # SPEAKS #JEWS”. The tweets were resurfaced for the first time by Eric Hananoki, of the left-wing surveillance organization Media Matters for America.
He defended several conspiracy theories, such as QAnon, Pizzagate and Frazzledrip. He also said that both the COVID-19 pandemic and the January 6 Capitol riots were events planned by left-wing politicians, according to Media Matters.
After Pharaoh’s comments resurfaced online, CPAC 2021 canceled its participation. The theme of the conference this year is “American Uncanceled”.
“We just learned that someone we invited to CPAC expressed reprehensible opinions that do not fit with our conference or organization,” wrote the CPAC in a brief statement on Monday afternoon. “The individual will not attend our conference.”
Newsweek contacted CPAC and Young Pharaoh for comment.

Pharaoh was to speak at a Sunday session entitled “Please check the number and dial again: Doubt, Dysfunction and the Price of Missed Opportunities.” On its website, CPAC described Pharaoh as a “philosopher, scholar, musician”.
Two of the conspiracy theories promoted by Pharaoh, QAnon and Frazzledrip, were also defended by Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
QAnon believers think that an obscure international child trafficking ring of Satan-worshiping Democrats, Hollywood elites and lizard-like humanoids sexually abuse and torture children to extract a supposedly psychedelic and rejuvenating chemical called adrenochrome from their victims’ pituitary glands.
The body produces adrenochrome naturally and does not cause psychedelic or rejuvenating youth effects.
Frazzledrip, a QA-related conspiracy theory, claims that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sexually abused a child, cut off the child’s face and used it as a mask before drinking the child’s blood.
The FBI called QAnon a threat of domestic terrorism. The conspiracy theory has been linked to several murders and death threats against politicians, but the movement has not partnered with international organizations that actually work to prevent child trafficking.
The CPAC describes itself as “the largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world”. This year’s conference will feature seven lectures on “election protection”, while former President Donald Trump, the event’s keynote speaker, continues to claim baseless that he won the 2020 presidential election.
The conference will also have several sessions on being “canceled”, a word to be fired, publicly criticized or to lose access to social media for publicly expressing controversial views.
