Connecticut’s Largest COVID Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic Opens Monday – NBC Connecticut

The largest COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru clinic in Connecticut will open on Monday morning.

Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford is being converted into a mass 10-lane vaccine clinic.

There, the Pfizer vaccine will be administered by the Community Health Center.

Vaccines will be available by appointment only for those who fall into phases 1a and 1b. From Monday, people aged 75 and over with an appointment can be vaccinated.

People aged 75 and over who have an email address and the ability to schedule an appointment online can schedule via the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS).

They can also call 877-918-2224 to make an appointment. State officials ask only people aged 75 and over to call the number, as they expect a high volume of calls.

The drive-thru clinic will be open from 18 to 22 January during the first week of operation. From the following week, the clinic will be open seven days a week, by appointment only.

More information will be provided during a press conference that will take place on Monday at 10am.
