Both Coco Country Bakery Restaurant’s Canyon Country and Stevenson Ranch closed.
Coco’s bakery restaurants in Canyon Country and Stevenson Ranch were closed on Saturday, with the official word from the answering machine at the Canyon Country site announcing the permanent closure of the site.
The Canyon Country site was closed for good on Saturday, January 2. The Stevenson Ranch site has been temporarily closed according to the company’s website.
The Facebook page configured for the Canyon Country location listed the location’s hours as “permanently closed” in red text.
Coco’s is a breakfast and bakery chain established over 70 years ago, with at least 35 restaurants spread across California and Arizona in 2019. In 2018, Coco’s and Carrows were acquired by Shari’s Pies.
An exact count is not available of how many sites have been forced to close since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Shari’s Management Corporation, Coco’s parent company, was contacted for comment, but was not available to respond on Sunday morning.
