JT seems to disable, either by choice or not, his verified Twitter account quite often. It has been withdrawn a few times since December, especially after some of its old problematic Tweets emerged. On Saturday, however, JT found himself in an especially hot situation on Twitter when he violently blocked a fan of hers who is dying of cancer.

Below one of JT’s Tweets this morning, a fan named Shaddai reached out, writing, “Hey JT sorry to bother you, I know I said this b4, but I’m a big Urs fan and I think you’re amazing and funny . Watching you help me keeps my spirits high when I’m in pain. I am dying and I have cancer. You said you were going to send me a DM, but you never did. I would still like to talk to you for 5 minutes, if possible, Luv u. ”

After seeing the Tweet, another fan responded to boost the Tweet, asking JT to take a look. Shaddai then responded to that fan, saying, “She blocked me and you won. You can see death messages for me and emails to die on my way to finance me or my mom. You go, I understand. ”

When another fan called her, JT responded, saying that she thought it was a bot account and would investigate further. When she realized she was wrong, she tweeted that she would pray for the girl, as it was “stronger than a phone call”.

What do you think? Is JT wrong? Check out the Tweets deleted since then and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
