Not only was Teigen an outspoken advocate for Biden during her presidential race, but her husband, John Legend, is also expected to perform during the television special “Celebrating America” ​​on Wednesday night.

Before his journey to the Capitol, Teigen shared a photo of his son Miles, 2, in his suitcase on social media.

“My baby had his first fat lip pushing his car down the sidewalk”, she wrote. “Still happy packing for the opening!”

A Twitter user was not satisfied with the message from the “Chrissy’s Court” star, however, and fired a response that has already been deleted.

“Hey, Chrissy DC residents aren’t very ‘happy’ right now and they can’t even ‘pack’ their cars to go to the supermarket because of the military state the city is in, but yes,” wrote the media user social, according to Buzzfeed. “How happy !!!”

The tweet was a reference to enhanced security in the city, which was installed after the Capitol riots that occurred earlier this month.

In addition, traveling during the ongoing worldwide coronavirus pandemic has been criticized as it increases the risk of spreading the new virus.

However, Teigen had no problem defending himself.

“It’s not my fault, but I feel like you’re frustrated”, she answered. “I just like to share what we are doing and stuff.”

At one point, the critic also said he blamed the ex-model for “being deaf and planning a ‘happy’ trip to the heart of the issue” and said that “it will still be possible to see” Legend’s next performance by Buzzfeed.

Teigen replied again.

“For God’s sake, because you are always mad at me, all I want to do is make you happy or at least leave you with a neutral feeling of indifference,” she answered.

The star also shared a handful of cheerful photos on Instagram in celebration of the special day, including one of herself, Legend, Miles, and the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Luna.

Teigen and Legend are just some of the stars that were seen in DC on Wednesday, with music legends Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks performing at the ceremony.
