Chrissy Teigen once revealed that she mistook the famous Hollywood actor Michael Keaton for a champagne waiter after the Golden Globe.

The 35-year-old TV model and personality admitted that her post-Globo encounter with the legend of the screens was her most embarrassing encounter with another celebrity to date.

Asked about her best showbiz date on The Tonight Show, starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: God, I think it was after the Golden Globes – oh no, this could be worse … ‘

Chrissy, Luna’s mother, four, and Miles, two, with husband John Legend, then remembered the strange details of their encounter with the movie star.

She said, ‘I was drinking a lot and I saw someone in the doorway holding a glass of champagne, so I just went up and picked it up and said’ thank you ‘, and [John] goes, “that was Michael Keaton.” ‘

After realizing his mistake, Chrissy revealed that he left in a hurry, adding: ‘God, I’m still so ashamed of this, I can die … I took it, drank it and went away’.

Chrissy – who has been married to John since 2013 – has admitted to having drunk a lot at one point in her life.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2017, Chrissy confessed to “doing an a **” of herself in front of people she respected.

She explained: ‘I was, at point-blank range, just drinking too much. I got used to wearing makeup, hair and a glass of wine.

‘Then that glass of wine would carry over to me, having one before the award show. And then a lot at the awards.

‘And then I felt bad about making me a kind of a ** for people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like it. You feel awful. It’s not looking good for me, for John, for anyone.

Appearing remotely in Fallon, the mother of two also revealed her least favorite job while playing a game called ‘Best Worst First’ with the host, who spun a wheel to determine the category of each question.

She recalled: ‘I thought I had this great opportunity to be in a Red Bull commercial, but they just wanted me to be one of those girls on the beach who wear thick flip flops and distribute Red Bulls.

‘So, I quit my entire job to give Red Bulls during the US Open of Surfing. And I thought it was my big chance. I was like, ” I’m finally going to Hollywood! ”

Fallon also asked Chrissy, who wrote a series of successful cookbooks, if she planned to expand and open her own restaurant.

‘I looked at some incredible spaces,’ Chrissy said while admitting to having ideas about a quick casual establishment.

She later told a funny story about accidentally insulting Katy Perry, 36, after she sang her hit Firework in January, during the inauguration of President Joe Biden, which ended with a huge firework display.

She remembers saying to the pop star, ‘I usually hate fireworks, but it was beautiful. She thought that Firework likes music. I wanted to die. I always do that.’
