Chrishell Stause responds to the reaction by posting a large family photo of Natal amid the coronavirus pandemic

Chrishell Stause issued a response to her critics on social media after she apparently ignored the restrictions on coronavirus to celebrate Christmas with her family.

The 39-year-old “Selling Sunset” star shared a series of photos on Instagram featuring her new boyfriend, “Dancing with the Stars” for Keo Motsepe, to his family as they celebrated the holiday. The photos showed the group in matching holiday coveralls while posing together indoors, complete with children and dogs.

However, the family vacation posting was quickly ridiculed by his followers on Instagram, who noted that, at a time when coronavirus cases are on the rise and people are being asked to avoid trips to large family gatherings indoors, the post seemed deaf and insecure.

The review led Stause to update the post’s caption to recognize that it may not have been the most sensitive or self-conscious post.

“For those who mention Covid’s concerns, I understand and agree that it was not a good use of my platform. Usually, I always try to be socially responsible with my posts because I am a naturally compassionate person,” she explained. “I can see how it doesn’t show it to some. I understand that you won’t agree, but at least so that you can see where I come from.”

The star recalled that, as it seems, everyone involved in the photo took precautions to try to ensure safety.

“This is my immediate family and we can all take the test before and after. This is the first Christmas without our mother that we feel important to be present in a difficult year ”, she wrote.

She also noted that this was the first time that she had introduced her new boyfriend to the family and that the euphoria of the good date got the better of her judgment.

“Keo brought such a welcome and selfishly posted happiness in a very happy moment”, he concluded. “Please be safe and I am sending all my love to my supporters and critics. I listen to you all and I can thank you for the feedback from both sides.”
