Chris Pine filming that big scene [SPOILERS]

When it came to Wonder Woman 1984, one of the big questions in the film was’ how Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) come back?’ It was not so surprising that the director Patty Jenkins and Warner Bros and DC decided to bring Steve back, played by the best Chris. He was an incredible interest, one of the rare male characters who never felt threatened by the fact that the woman he was close to was much stronger than him. Instead, Steve spent the entire first Wonder Woman looking at Diana with her heart in her eyes. Their relationship was beautiful, and Pine’s chemistry with the stars Gal Gadot it was excellent. They had a lot of big scenes, but there was one in particular that Pine was questioned about, but it’s a SPOILER. So, if you don’t want to be pampered by an important plot point in Wonder Woman 1984, so don’t read beyond this photo of Diana and Steve being adorable.

Steve is not as resurrected as his soul is owning a random guy, which is a plot point that the film never takes time to really examine, but that’s a conversation for another post. When Diana wished at Dreamstone to bring Steve back, she lost something in return, and that something was her powers. After a fight with a now energized Cheetah and Max Lord escaping, Steve realizes that Diana needs to renounce her desire to save the world. However, renouncing her desire would mean sending him back to where he was. Pine spoke to Collider about filming the scene in Wonder Woman 1984, where Diana has to make the choice between Steve and the world and what it was like to shoot such a difficult scene.

“We shot it on Avenida Pennsylvania. We shot that day when we were part of that huge weeklong run running down Avenida Pennsylvania, and she running down and then looping up. We did it in stages, and we went after the pillar and made the scene. a very difficult scene to do, especially when there are many other actions and other things to do for the rest of the day, and certainly very exciting for her. And Patty is very good at making sure we have the space to really discover the scene and make it authentic, and then really push us as actors to get there, and accept nothing less than the absolute truth. It really was a credit to Gal for being so emotionally open and Patty for being such an advocate. “

For everything anyone can say about Wonder Woman 1984, and there’s a lot, don’t get me wrong, you can’t deny how effective this scene really is. The fact that they brought Steve back may be one of the things that break the film, but that scene and almost all the scenes that are just Steve and Diana being really cute together are some of the best scenes in the film. This is because of Pine and Gadot and their chemistry, which is brought up by Jenkins and the rest of the crew.
