The Mary Tyler Moore Show star, who passed away in January at the age of 94, died of a stroke, according to several reports.
A spokesman for the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said Leachman was also significantly affected by COVID-19. The coronavirus contributed to her death, although it did not directly cause the stroke.
His death certificate showed that the star was cremated on February 7, and his ashes are with his daughter, Dinah Englund.
She died on January 27 at her home in Encinitas, California.
