Capitol zip code suspect’s mother arrested in Tennessee on charges of conspiracy

The mother of a man who is accused of carrying ties in the US Capitol building on January 6 was arrested Saturday in Tennessee, accused of entering the Capitol building.

Lisa Eisenhart, 56, was charged with conspiracy, entering a restricted building and violent entry or disorderly conduct. Her son, Eric Munchel, was arrested on January 10 on similar charges.

FBI director Christopher Wray said on Thursday that more than 100 people have already been arrested for their involvement in the Capitol riot.

“See what’s happening now with the people who were involved in the Capitol siege,” Wray told Vice President Mike Pence at a briefing. “Wherever they spread – whether Memphis, Phoenix, Dallas, Honolulu – what they are finding out is that we have FBI agents tracking and arresting them.”
