Candace Cameron Bure opts to keep the house full on social media.
The 44 year old Fuller House The actress accessed her story on Instagram on Thursday, January 21, to speak to fans who recently expressed concern about some of the accounts she follows on Twitter and Instagram.
“I read a lot of comments from people and I think there are a lot of new followers, so thank you if you’re still around for following me here,” she said with a laugh. “People who were disappointed or told me they were leaving me because of the people I chose to follow on Instagram. And it’s always strange for me because I follow a very wide range of people – politically, within my work industry and personal friends and things I like. “
Candace did not specify which reports she was following that bothered people. She is currently tracking just over 1,100 accounts, including political figures like the president Joe Biden, Vice president Kamala Harris, Barack Obama and Donald and Melania Trump, together with Sarah Huckabee Sanders, polarization specialist Candace Owens and the conservative Blaze Media.

“But following does not mean endorsement,” she continued. “Following doesn’t mean I agree with everything they say and do. It just means that I follow a wide range of people to get a perspective. I want to know what’s going on in the world, I want to hear different sides of the argument. I follow people in entertainment with which I do not necessarily agree or act in the same way, but I want to hear what our society, what culture is offering. “
She stressed that she understands that some people prefer to follow only accounts that align with them and that some users would probably have trouble seeing posts that reflect opposite views of their own.
“I go left and right, but it doesn’t make my blood boil,” she said. “I’m not angry about it. So maybe it’s healthy for some of you not to follow people you disagree with. But it doesn’t bother me – it just gives me perspective.”
This is not the first time that Dancing with the stars alum replied to social media comments. After commentators wrote negative messages on a photo she posted of her family on Instagram on January 2, she took to Facebook to express her dismay.
“Shame on you,” wrote Candance. “It doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 90, rude is rude.”
