“Will I ever make a movie again? I’m not looking, but will I? I don’t know. I have no idea. Maybe. Never say never,” said Diaz.
“But I couldn’t imagine being a mother now where I am as a mother, with my son in the first year, having to be on a film set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours of my day away from my son. “
“I feel so blessed to be here now with my son and, you know, to be the mother I should be,” she said. “It is a blessing, it is completely privileged and I am very, very grateful.”
With a long retirement in her rear view, Diaz is currently focused on motherhood and Avaline – the organic wine brand she founded with entrepreneur Katherine Power last year.
