Call of Duty: Actress Mara de Warzone is banned from two cheaters on Twitch

Alex Zedra, the actress of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare’s Mara, banned two Twitch cheaters after she called them. As reported by Eurogamer, Zedra accessed Twitter to expose these cheaters who were using aimbots in a Warzone tournament that took place on March 12, 2021.

Zedra was hosting one of these cheaters after her own Twitch stream ended, and she was alerted to errors shortly thereafter.

Both channels have been suspended and it appears that they deleted their Twitter accounts after the ban. Zedra thanked Twitch for acting so quickly and making the war zone a better place for everyone.

“Thanks @Twitch for banning the most toxic hackers I have encountered in my 5 years of experience on this platform,” wrote Zedra in Twitter. “I’m glad I was able to witness him being banned live after being called a bitch and the 1v1 while they are shamelessly hacking.”

Cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone has been a constant problem for developers and players, and just last month Activision banned more than 60,000 cheaters. This was the third major ban since the launch of Warzone in 2020.Mara was also in the news in February, when Activision, Infinity Ward and Major League Gaming Corp. (MLG) were hit by a copyright infringement lawsuit that claimed companies were responsible for making a direct copy of the character for use in the game.
