Buffalo clinic sniper gave a scary warning before shooting

The sniper who killed a nurse and injured four others at a Minnesota health clinic delivered a scary message the day before, saying to a local motel owner, “Tomorrow my job will definitely be done.”

Gregory Ulrich, who is due to appear in court on Thursday, made the comment to Mona Patel, owner of the Super 8 motel in Buffalo, Minnesota, on Monday when she offered him a room discount, CNN said in a statement. report.

“He was telling me he didn’t have a lot of money because he was over 65,” Patel told the network. “He said, ‘Mona, I don’t have a car and I don’t have a lot of money.'”

“I said that if you take a whole week, I will pay a cheaper rate because you are short of money,” she told Ulrich. “And he said, ‘No, tomorrow my job is done. So, just give me one (more) night and if it’s not done I can buy more nights. ‘”

Patel said she was not eavesdropping.

The next day, police said Ulrich entered the Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, about 40 miles from Minneapolis, and opened fire.

Five people were hit and a medical assistant, Lindsay Overbay, 37, died later.

Ulrich is charged with second-degree murder, four counts of attempted premeditated first-degree murder and possession of explosive or incendiary devices.

Records show that he had more than 40 previous meetings with police.
