Buffalo Bills Week 17 inactive: accounts with some first steps

Buffalo Bills had already eliminated two players before this week’s game against the Miami Dolphins. With TJ Yeldon remaining on the COVID-19 list thanks to a positive test before the Buffalo’s Week 16 game and the addition of Tyler Kroft to the COVID-19 list before this week’s game (so Kroft’s wife, Lexi, is saying it was a false positive), Buffalo summoned four players from his training team this week.

Which accounts are in effect and which accounts are launched for the end of the season? Here is the list, which contains many familiar names.

QB Jake Fromm

Even with a guaranteed playoff spot, Bills will not activate Fromm, who officially spent the entire regular season as a healthy scratch.

RB Taiwan Jones

The ace of Buffalo’s special teams left today, with just a week to go before launching a touchdown pass. Antonio Williams has been called up from the training team and will make his NFL debut today.

WR Cole Beasley

Bease was ruled out due to a leg injury sustained against the New England Patriots last week. His absence is mitigated by the return of John Brown, who has not played since Buffalo’s defeat at the Arizona Cardinals.

TE Reggie Gilliam

The star of the special teams will lose another game thanks to injuries to his knees and hips. With Kroft gone, too, the Bills called Nate Becker from the training team, who will make his professional debut in the regular season today.

T Ty Nsekhe

The veteran swing tackle is a healthy scrape this week. The players on Buffalo’s offensive reserve line are Ryan Bates and Brian Winters, as Ike Boettger overtook the veteran as a starting left guard.

DE Jerry Hughes

The veteran will have the day off, as Buffalo will go with his younger players plus Trent Murphy this week on the defensive end.

DE Mario Addison

Look above. AJ Epenesa and Darryl Johnson Jr. think they will see a lot of pictures.

CB Tre’Davious White

The Bills choose to let their best defensive player sit this week. Josh Norman, Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson will see most of the photos outside.
