Buffalo Bills activates John Brown from the injured reserve before placing him on the reserve list / COVID-19

Buffalo Bills made a series of line-up moves on Monday, ahead of the primetime game against the New England Patriots. They activated wide receiver John Brown from the injured reserve and there was a lot of joy. Then they immediately put him on the Reserva / COVID-19 list along with the safety of the training team Josh Thomas and the running back of the training team Christian Wade.

Buffalo placed running back TJ Yeldon on the Reserve / COVID-19 list earlier this weekend after he tested positive for the coronavirus. All three of today’s places on the COVID list were due to close contacts with Yeldon.

We haven’t seen Brown in six weeks, since he suffered several leg injuries that hampered his ability. Buffalo sat down with him and brought him back slowly, as they were still succeeding in the passing game with newcomer Gabriel Davis replacing him. The Bills launched Jake Kumerow, which sparked speculation that Brown would be healthy and ready for tonight’s game. This turned out to be the case.

Buffalo also activated the QB Davis Webb training team for the game. Having three QBs in the active squad in the last two weeks of the season makes sense in the case of withdrawing Josh Allen in the second half.

We will continue to update this story.
