Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are taking a trip back to the Super Bowl.
On Sunday, the Super Bowl champions defeated the Buffalo Bills 38-24 in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where Brittany Matthews, engaged to Mahomes, attended.
“I’m so proud of you,” Matthews, 25, posted on his Instagram story.
Mahomes, who is also expecting his first child with Matthews, a girl, completed 29 of 38 attempts to pass for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
Mahomes, 25, and the Chiefs will now face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Super Bowl 2021 on Sunday, February 7, in Tampa, Florida.
Earlier on Sunday, Matthews posted a couple of game day photos from his suite in Arrowhead.
“Let’s do this👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #chiefskingdom,” Matthews captioned the Instagram post.
Matthews and Mahomes announced their engagement in September.
