Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback in first year Tom Brady responded to comments from the Washington Football Team’s debut defensive side Chase Young on Wednesday after Young called Brady ahead of the WildCard Round playoff game, which will be played between the two teams on Saturday. Speaking to reporters, Brady, who played college football in Michigan before embarking on an NFL career that included six Super Bowl titles and counting, can’t help but point to one of the most heated rivalries in all sports as he prepares for compete against a former Ohio state promoter in Young.
“He is obviously a great young player and we are very busy with that line … he went to the state of Ohio, so I think this Ohio and Michigan state thing has worn him out a little bit,” Brady told reporters when asked about Young’s observations.
The second overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft, Young emerged as a star and leader of the Washington Football Team. The former Ohio state star was a bag machine and a disturbing force to oppose offenses throughout the season.
With the Washington Football Team scheduled to face Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night in the Wild Card round, Young had a message for Tom Brady while the rookie left the field on Sunday after a week 17 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Tom Brady, Tom Brady I’m going, ”said Young. “I want Tom. I want Tom.”
Brady, a six-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, has his Bucs on the road this postseason and the first stop on a chance for ring 7 is Washington. Brady joined the team as a free agency last spring, ending a 20-season run with New England, in which he established himself as one of the greatest to ever play football. However, even a high-powered attack like that of Tampa Bay has to be responsible for Washington’s robust defensive line, especially Young.
Young was highly productive throughout the season. In 15 games this year, Young ended his regular rookie season with 44 tackles in total, 32 solo tackles, 10 losing tackles, 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble bounces, four pass deflections and a defensive touchdown .

The Washington Football Team (7-9) is scheduled to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5) on Saturday at 8:15 pm ET, in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
