BOTW Glitch allows Zelda players to start with the Master Sword (more or less)

A newly discovered flaw allows fans to start Breath of the Wild with a complete inventory, but it takes a lot of time and patience to set it up correctly.

A newly discovered failure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to start the game with the Master Sword, but it will take a lot of time, work and dedication to complete. Since its launch, Breath of the Wild has been a staple of games on the Nintendo Switch. Its huge open world map and non-linear gameplay have made it a fan favorite, with players still discovering new and exciting ways to explore the Kingdom of Hyrule today. Its success has inspired an abundance of other recent game releases, including Greek fantasy Fenyx Rising Immortals.

There were two hacks sought for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. First, the ability to start the game with paragliding, which means that the Grand Plateau segment of the game could be ignored, opening the extensive map for players as soon as they leave the Resurrection Sanctuary. Second, a way to start the game with more powerful and durable weaponry; Notably the Master Sword and the Arc of Light.

Now, almost four years later The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was first released, a new flaw has been discovered that makes both hacks a reality. YouTuber LegendofLinkk is the brain behind this latest discovery, with the flaw entitled “Memory storage”. Their discovery was shared by Gaming Reinvented in a step-by-step guide to allow others Zelda fans to use this flaw, although it is not for the weak. To begin Breath of the Wild with all items, players must first trick the game to move the saved data between files.

While it may seem easy, it actually involves a very complicated and time-consuming process. First, players from Breath of the Wild whoever wants to start this fault must first have the Travel Medallion, the updated Sheikah sensor, an Hyrule Compendium entry, a memory and a secondary mission to mark on the map. Only after all are acquired can the fault be configured as detailed in the video above. Once the setup is complete, players must deliberately kill Link and restart a new game. If the fault configuration was successful at this point, there will be no way to save in this new game. As such, players must complete a race without Breath of the Wild (without leaving) while collecting all the items you want to take to your future saved file. It is no small task! Once the fans have collected all the items, they want to start their next Breath of the Wild com, they can load their old save file. It is not explained how or why, but at this point, the player will be reloaded back to the Resurrection Sanctuary at the start of the game with a complete inventory.

This flaw will open a new world for Zelda Speedrunners. The ability to leave the Great Plateau without shrines, scenes or runes will cut a significant amount of time Breath of the Wild gameplay. This, combined with an already stored weapon and a bow shop, will make going straight to Hyrule Castle to defeat Ganon a breeze for experienced players.
