Her husband, Matthew Tjaden, was arrested on 29 January on suspicion of escaping to avoid imprisonment and child neglect, after the Cass County sheriff came to their home to investigate.
Tjaden reportedly posted bail on Monday.
A black SUV belonging to Amber Tjaden was found on a remote road on Friday. A body was found nearby shortly afterwards.
The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office did not disclose the identity of the individual found, but members of Tjaden’s family accessed Facebook to announce his death.
“It is with regret that I share that my mother’s car was found and she was found nearby and passed away,” wrote her daughter, Savannah Suttle, on the social media platform, the local media reported.

Amber Tjaden’s brother-in-law, Mike Lewis, also used the online platform to thank everyone who helped in his search.
“Through all of their shares and publications, we were able to help with the investigation and ultimately bring that to a conclusion, and I really thank everyone deeply for their help,” said Lewis.
According to court records obtained by the Omaha World Herald, Amber Tjaden filed protection orders against her husband on two different occasions in 2015.
She noted that her husband “complained and raved” and was paranoid about the cars passing by her house. His petitions also alleged aggressive behavior, noting that he punched walls, broke photo frames and threatened to kill her and her father, the media reported.
