Blackbaud forms the steering committee for advancing ESG practices

Based on its mission to help good control, Blackbaud has:

  • Formalized executive sponsorship of its ESG program with CEO Mike Gianoni, including future supervision of the board of directors
  • Launched an employee-led ESG steering committee consisting of the company’s multifunctional leaders representing:
    • Environmental: Use of Resources, Emissions and Innovation
    • Social: workforce, impact on the community, product responsibility, data privacy and cybersecurity
    • Governance: Management Strategy, Shareholders and Corporate Responsibility
  • Created an ESG Program Manager role to take responsibility for ESG measurement and reporting
  • Committed to reporting in line with the recommended SASB standards for the software and IT services industry and even more in line with other global ESG reporting frameworks as they evolve
