Bills QB Josh Allen improvises for fun TD toss

It’s hard enough to have to worry about Josh Allen running the ball close to the goal line. In addition to Cam Newton, he may be the best quarterback on the goal line we’ve ever seen.

But when he can adjust what looked like a race called and push a touchdown pass to a tight open end, how would you stop?

Allen’s first touchdown on Saturday, the first touchdown of this postseason, was fun. The Buffalo Bills quarterback lined up with the shotgun, and it seemed obvious from the empty field that he was going to command him. Allen paused, tried to find a hole, but there was none.

Allen was about to be approached when he saw Dawson Knox in the end zone. Allen pushed the ball forward – it’s hard to call it a pass – and it floated to Knox in the end zone. With that, the Bills got a 7-3 lead over the Indianapolis Colts.

Allen had a phenomenal season. One thing he has always been good at since he was called up by the Bills is to find ways to score near the goal line, and he found another way to drive the defenses crazy in the first quarter of the playoffs.
