Billionaire Jared Isaacman flying the first all-civilian space flight

Elon Muskis handing over the keys of a SpaceX rocket to Jared Isaacman – himself a billionaire and pilot who is preparing to lead the first all-civil space flight.

Jared joined us on “TMZ Live” Tuesday and told us all about the historic mission set to take off in October, and what he looks forward to most when he and 3 other civilians go into orbit.

Elon announced on Monday that Jared will be the Commander of the trip, and he has already started some practical training for the SpaceX Dragon capsule. It looks like he will be ready to replace the autopilot if necessary, but don’t worry … he is a talented pilot with a flying speed record in his name.

It’s really cool … Jared is bringing 3 other civilians into space for a multi-day trip around the Earth, and he tells us how 2 lucky people can attach some stitches to the capsule by donating to a great cause.

For now ISaacman Rocketman is trying to stay grounded and take on the mission preparations day after day – but you can tell he is looking forward to getting the pilot’s bragging rights.
