‘I buy green jet fuel. I pay for direct aerial capture by Climeworks. I help finance electric heat pumps in low-cost housing to replace natural gas. I intend to fly much less now that the pandemic has shown that we can survive on fewer trips.
At the beginning of the post, Gates was asked what an ordinary person could do to reduce his own footprint.

‘So you can consume less and when you do, buy green products like electric cars or synthetic meat.
Gates also emphasized checking with employers to see how they are implementing greener efforts.
“Another area is to ensure that your company is paying for the compensation and doing its part,” said the billionaire. “If you want to help, there are ways for everyone to get involved.”
