President Biden “sold” America to progressives to be elected president, former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Tom Homan, told “Life, Liberty & Levin” in an interview that will air on Sunday.
Host Mark Levin postulated to Homan that the Biden government’s strategy to deal with the sudden increase in migrants on the United States’ border with Mexico is to “overload the system, break the system, blame the system and take control”.
“You are right,” Homan replied. “The Biden administration is still trying to blame President Trump for what is happening at the border right now. They are ignoring the fact that – I don’t care if you love President Trump or hate him – you can’t deny the fact that he it gave us the most secure frontier of my career, which is almost thirty-five years old.
“I started in 1984 as a Border Patrol agent,” added Homan. “I spent my entire career in border enforcement, immigration enforcement, and President Trump got it right. He had unprecedented success on that border.”

Homan went on to explain that Trump “understood that 90% of Central Americans who come to our border to seek asylum never get relief from the U.S. courts. They just don’t qualify. These data are easily available on the Department of Justice website; anyone you can look at it.
“I doubt whether President Biden looked at this or [DHS Secretary] Alejandro Mayorkas looked at this, because if they did, then they are facilitating immigration fraud at the border. “
Homan recalled that during Barack Obama’s second term, when Biden was vice president and Mayorkas was undersecretary for homeland security, “we built detention centers, thousands of them. We detained people long enough to see a judge. them and we take away the temptations. “
Now, however, “Joe Biden sold this country to the progressive left to win an election,” said Homan. “He is a different person … Alejandro Mayorkas is a different person.”
