The Biden White House said it could not unilaterally release records of Trump’s White House visitors amid questions about whether anyone who participated in the January 6 attack on Capitol Hill visited the former president in the previous days.
“Under the Presidential Records Act, all records of Trump’s White House visitors are under the control and legal custody of the National Archives and Records Administration and cannot be unilaterally released by the Biden White House,” said a spokesman.
