New Bat Woman star Javicia Leslie has revealed whether she has talked to Ruby Rose since taking the cloak. When the change was announced, many fans were afraid that the ex-star’s departure would be the end of the show. Rose decided to look for other opportunities after the end of the first season. But, Leslie was revealed as his replacement and this immediately stabilized the faith among the fan base. In a conversation with Variety, the star explained that he did not speak to the first Bat Woman still. It seems that this is due to the fact that the character is a completely different woman now. Kate Kane and Ryan Wilder are fascinatingly different in many ways. According to Leslie, the writing for the new season accentuates this in a way that you don’t need to reinforce trying to reproduce what Rose did the previous season.
“The writers and the showrunner have done a great job at that already, so I didn’t have to try to be different intentionally,” explained Leslie. “Writing has allowed this character to stand out on his own and, of course, we are two different people, so my natural energy entering him will already be different. I think my only job is to show up and have fun, and play on the storyline that has already been created. “
O Bat Woman The star has been talking about how eager she is to introduce Ryan to fans. In DC FanDome’s last ear, she explained a little more about shifting perspectives toward season two. The actress also admits that it is truly a dream to be part of the great advancing Arrowverse.
“Batwoman already stands out because she doesn’t have a superpower,” said Leslie. “All she uses is her intelligence and Luke [Fox] and your physical strength. So, I’m looking forward to playing that role from Ryan’s perspective, this street kid’s perspective. From a person who saw these superheroes growing up. Because it was also very important for Ryan to see Batwoman as an outspoken lesbian, to have her superhero model to respect.
