Nintendo found a winner when it started transmitting Nintendo Direct almost 10 years ago. In revealing information about upcoming games in an online presentation, he offered a widely accessible format, and we saw no end to competitors trying out their own versions. Within the Xbox, Ubisoft Forward, Sony’s State of Play … the list goes on, and (pun intended) Bandai Namco could be Next.

“Bandai Namco Next” is a new registered trademark that was registered on December 29 with the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office. There is a long list of covers, but outside of games, which includes online publications, eSports competitions, computer networks, films and toys.

Trademarks are not necessarily means that everything will happen, but speculation was also fueled by a Elden Ring trailer leaking online yesterday. In considering the upcoming restructuring of Bandai Namco in April, it is possible that its new president, Masaru Kawaguchi, is also looking for a new approach.

There is certainly potential for such an idea if the company goes ahead with it. When you remember that Bandai Namco’s portfolio covers franchises like Ace Combat, Dark Souls, Digimon, Pac Man, Soul Calibur and Tekken, we would be curious to see what was planned.
