Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s broken facial animations will be covered in a future update

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Face Bug

Ubisoft has updated its official ‘Known Issues’ list for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is where the development team takes note of existing bugs and gives an approximate timeline of when players can expect them to be fixed.

Recently added to the list is “Lip sync / mouth movement during dialogs since 1.1.1”, which will apparently be addressed “in a future update”. For those who are out of the loop, the latest game patch – version 1.011 on PlayStation platforms – has magnified a problem where facial animations disappear during the dialogue. It’s a disturbing bug to say the least, but at least Ubisoft is on the case.

It is unclear when the next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch will actually fall, but we know that the game will receive a major update in February, which includes ‘River Raids’ – a new type of activity. We will certainly learn more about this in the near future.
