Ashley announced her pregnancy in September 2020 and revealed the gender the following month. The couple married in September 2014, after dating for less than two years.

On Monday, she shared a look at her pregnant belly. Ashley stretched her legs out to the side and leaned back to get a good look at her belly.

The star threw her blonde highlights over one shoulder and made a bold face while looking to the side. ‘Any day now …’ the singer / actress captioned the post.

The former Disney Channel star was candid about the ups and downs of her pregnancy, recently detailing the ‘out-of-body experience’ of her first pregnancy on her Frenshe blog.

She wrote: ‘I have to be honest, I didn’t have all the warm, confused feeling that my pregnant body was beautiful.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I am very proud of my body and I am very grateful to be able to create a home and grow my son. However, seeing my body look so different is still a little surprising to me. ‘

She continued: ‘It is as if I do not recognize myself fully and almost as an out-of-body experience. Thoughts like, “Is it really me?” come to mind. I think it’s about acceptance of the body versus love of the body. I think you can love your body, no matter what shape or shape, but it’s the part of acceptance that confuses me a little. ‘

Ashley said this because she ‘showed up very early’, people said ‘very invasive things’ to her, like ‘I think you’re more advanced than you think’ or ‘Are you going to have twins?’

She added: ‘I think changing can be difficult, but I keep on saying every day I love you for my body because it is doing so much and it is creating a beautiful miracle.

‘I have to let the ego’s mind go and appreciate that my body can even do that. It is giving up my own needs because my baby’s needs are more important. ‘

The actress concluded: ‘I don’t know what my body will look like after the baby is born, but I know that I will take a break, I will heal and take very good care of him.

‘I wanted to share this because I am sure that, like many other people, I felt ashamed for being uncomfortable at first. However, it is important to respect how you feel and understand that each person has a different experience with the pregnancy. ‘

Previously, she detailed the pain of walking on her feet, while reading her Instagram story last Friday to discuss her experience with plantar fasciitis.

Ashley posted a photo of her white pedicure feet, writing: ‘The worst part so far during this pregnancy is my plantar fasciitis. It literally hurts just walking around.

‘I have never felt such pain and I hope that when the baby is here, it will stop. I know there could be worse, but for someone who is constantly on their feet it can be quite unbearable. ‘

Plantar fasciitis is a common condition in which a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes is inflamed.

Later, she gave a video update to her 13.3 million followers: ‘Yes, it is horrible, it is very painful. It just hurts to walk … anywhere, every day. It’s like your arches are starting to collapse, because of how much weight is on my body.

– I mean, I think she has seven pounds now and I never carried it before. And I am very short, I have 5’3. So, it has definitely been painful. I really hope it will go away eventually, or when she is out of my mind. So, if you have any suggestions, please send me a DM. Let me know what to do. ‘

Suite star of Life of Zack & Cody revealed that her nursery is in the making, while she and her husband Christopher, 39, are preparing for their new addition.

She said: ‘It is getting close, and finally everything decided to get to her room at once, that I was very nervous that it was not going to come at all.

‘So, we’re just in that way of setting up the room, and it’s looking so good. I can’t wait to share it with you on Frenshe. Just do it all, so we don’t have anyone else in the house afterwards.

Ashley recently told Us Weekly: ‘It is physically exhausting. I clicked very early where some of my friends didn’t show up until very late in their pregnancy. So I think they’ll probably have a lot more time to have fun. It’s definitely been a little difficult at times and it’s heavy.

‘Physical tiredness is difficult. And I think this time now [with] the pandemic, I am not comfortable going to chiropractors or acupuncturists, where they would normally help you at this point. But we are getting over it. We are almost there.’

The couple confirmed the sex of their first child in a post shared with followers in October.

Putting pictures of herself cutting a rose-filled cake in the caption, Ashley wrote: ‘This year was obviously difficult. For so many. Up and down and an emotional roller coaster.

‘I think this day was by far my favorite day EVER! I cried so happy. ‘
