Another jetpack seen flying off the coast of SoCal – and this time there is a video

LOS ANGELES – Another sighting of a jetpack over the Los Angeles area was reported, a recurring mystery reported by pilots that, until now, had not been captured on video.

An instructor at a local flight school captured images of what appears to be the elusive “jetpack man” flying off the coast of Palos Verdes at an altitude of about 3,000 feet.

There have been at least two jetpack sightings this year by commercial pilots flying near Los Angeles International Airport, although no footage has been recorded.

The FAA and the FBI are investigating these earlier sightings, as jetpacks can pose a danger to aircraft.

The new footage was posted by the Sling Pilot Academy.

In late August, two commercial airline pilots reported seeing someone in a jet pack near planes outside LAX.

Another sighting was reported in Century City in October by a China Airlines crew.
