Anna Faris revealed that she will be releasing a new card game called Dealbreakers, just one day after it was announced that the series she used to star in, Mom, would end this year.
Faris, 44, starred in Mom for seven seasons, but left a few days before the series began its eighth season last year.
While Mom’s fans mourned the end of the critically acclaimed series, Faris revealed to People that she would be launching a new Dealbreakers-based game on her podcast, Unqualified.

The objective of the game is to dissuade the moderator from going on a date.
Rounds start with players selecting a scenario card that describes the scene or date, and players present a dealbreaker card that they hope to convince the moderator to leave the date.

“As players explore these issues and accumulate points, they will learn more than they ever thought about themselves, their friends and, of course, how to avoid dating ax killers,” added Faris.
The deluxe box comes with 30 date scenario cards, five bonus ‘wildcard’ scenarios, 300 tiebreakers, 15 create your own dealbreaker ‘wildcards’, a rules booklet and a personal note from the actress. The game will be released in May.
The news comes just a day after it was announced that CBS would end Mom this year after its eighth season.
Although Faris left a few days before production began last year, the show continued with co-star Allison Janney in charge – who recently described returning to the set without Faris as ‘weird’.

In 2018, Kristen Johnston made a big impact playing Tammy Diffendorf, Bonnie’s adopted sister (Janney) who ended up in prison after trying to rob an Outback Steakhouse.
