Sharing your piece. Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox testified against Brad Pitt as part of the battle for custody of his parents, reports Us Weekly. The 19-year-old college student’s testimony was reportedly less than “flattering”.
“Maddox has already testified as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute and was not very flattering to Brad, ”a source told us on March 18. “He does not use Pitt as his last name in documents that are not legal and instead uses Jolie,” explained the source. “Maddox wants to legally change her surname to Jolie, which Angelina said she doesn’t support.”
The news of Maddox’s testimony comes just a day after Angelina filed the court documents in confidence, where she claimed she could provide “evidence and authority in support” of Brad’s alleged domestic violence. The documents state that Angelina and her children are willing to testify, although a separate document indicates that Brad and Angelina must grant the court permission to involve their younger children – Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12 – In the process. The ex-boyfriends also share two adult children, including Maddox and Pax, 17, who do not need parental consent to testify at the trial.

Brad was previously charged and then fired for child abuse in 2016, after an alleged incident between Pitt and Maddox on the family’s private plane. The organization “cleared him of any child abuse charges almost immediately,” a source explained to us. “The case remained open due to excessive caution because the department took the matter seriously and, in the almost two years of monitored visitation, there has not been a single case that has triggered any alarm.”
