Angelina Jolie claims to have ‘evidence’ of Brad Pitt’s alleged domestic violence in court

Angelina Jolie is willing to show evidence of Brad Pitt’s alleged domestic violence in her ongoing divorce case, according to a new lawsuit.

The “Maleficent” actress reportedly filed a document in court on Friday, March 12, declaring that she and her children are willing to provide “evidence and authority in support” of their abuse allegations against Pitt.

The lawsuit specifies that Jolie has agreed to provide testimony, as well as “testimony from minor children,” according to reports.

Jolie, 45, and Pitt, 57, share six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, the twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.

A source familiar with the case told Fox News that this is “just another case of Angelina changing the narrative when it suits her”, adding that it is “important” to note that Pitt was cleared of child abuse charges by the FBI and the Department of Children and Family Services in 2016, after an alleged fight that took place between Pitt and Maddox on a plane.

“When they first divorced in the fall of 2016 [Angelina] made similar allegations that were reported to the authorities and thoroughly investigated before no action was taken, “said the source.

Jolie and Pitt’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News’s requests for comment.

In 2017, Pitt spoke about the investigation with GQ Style.

“I was actually lying on my back and chained to a system when the Child Care Service was called,” he said. “And you know, after that, we were able to work together to resolve this. We’re both doing our best. I heard a lawyer say, ‘Nobody wins in court – it’s just a question of who gets hurt the worst.’ And it seems to be true.”

Meanwhile, Jolie spoke to British Vogue earlier this year about her life at home with the children and admitted that “the past few years have been very difficult”.

“I’ve been focusing on healing our family. It’s coming back slowly, like ice melting and blood coming back into my body,” said Jolie.
