An Italian man allegedly kills his parents after his father asks him to walk the dog

A 30-year-old Italian bodybuilder confessed to killing his parents – after being asked to get out of bed and walk the dog, according to reports.

Benno Neumair admitted to the police that he murdered his mother, Laura Perselli, 63, and his father, Peter Neumair, 68, in the northern city of Bolzano in January, Italian news agency Ansa reported.

The buff son claimed that his father accused him of “being a failure” during a fight, according to the Daily Star.

The older Neumair accused Benno, who fell asleep after playing on his computer, of not doing his part in household chores, including walking the dog, according to the media.

He allegedly strangled his father to “shut him up”.

“We were in the hall and we fell on the floor together. I just remember that I squeezed very hard, ”he continued, according to the report.

Benno said that when his mother returned home shortly afterwards, he strangled her with the same rope.

“I did it without even saying goodbye,” he told investigators.

He then reportedly threw his parents’ bodies off a bridge on the Adige River.

Perselli’s body was recovered with signs of strangulation. The father’s body was not found.
