Fourteen suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 ties and several other items of clothing that belonged to Danger! Presenter Alex Trebek was donated by the program and the Trebek family to The Doe Fund, an organization that offers paid work, housing, vocational training, continuing education and comprehensive social services to underprivileged Americans with a history of dependency, homelessness and incarceration.
At the suggestion of Trebek’s son, Matthew Trebek, a supporter of The Doe Fund, the clothes will be distributed to participants in the organization’s “Ready, Willing and Able” reentry program for use in job interviews.

“During his last day on the set, Alex extolled the virtues of everyone opening their hands and their hearts to those who are suffering,” said Mike Richards, Executive Producer, Danger!. “Donating your wardrobe to those who are working to rebuild their lives is the perfect way to start honoring that latest request.”

The clothes were packed by Matthew Trebek and Danger! Steven Zimbelman, and the final stock was:

- 25 polo shirts
- 14 sweaters
- 9 sports jackets
- 9 pairs of dress shoes
- 15 belts
- 2 parkas
- 3 pairs of dress pants.
“We are very grateful for Danger! and the Trebek family’s commitment to helping the most vulnerable among us, ”said Harriet McDonald, president of The Doe Fund. “The men in our career training programs are always in need of professional attire, so that they can shine in job interviews and work with confidence after being hired. This donation alleviates the obstacle of not having adequate clothes. “

Trebek died of pancreatic cancer on November 8, 2020. The game show is being hosted by several temporary hosts.
