A 4-month-old girl may have been accidentally choked by the family’s puppy in Florida, officials said.
Little Raelynn Larrison was found unconscious by her father, who noticed the dog resting on top of her at about 7pm at his home in Dayton, the WRGT reported.
The child’s father frantically called 911 and said to the dispatchers: “The puppy was lying on top of it and I just noticed it,” according to a recording of the connection obtained from the outlet.
“She is not breathing. My baby is not breathing, ”continued the father, according to the Dayton Daily News.
Raelynn was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The police are investigating the cause of the tot’s death.
