Immigration reform

Mexican stars Alejandro Fernández and Fher Olvera de Maná joined “We are at home / We are in Nuestro Hogar”, a national campaign that calls for changes in immigration policy. The campaign was launched by a coalition of immigration rights organizations that include Community Change / Community Change Action; National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) / Care in Action; Service Employees International Union (SEIU); United Agricultural Workers (UFW); and United We Dream.

The Olvera and Fernández summons are the first acts of what the organizers are calling a “multi-million dollar campaign” that will include digital advertising and lobbying to change immigration laws.
