Darrel Williams signed a one-year contract on Tuesday, which had many people connecting points. He will certainly have opportunities, but there is another running back in Kansas City that has proven that he also deserves some playing time. RB Darwin Thompson of the third year is this guy.
Thompson started in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers, carrying the stone 14 times for 45 yards and a touchdown. He also picked up 7 of 7 passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Thompson did this behind an offensive line that was worse than the unit that the Chiefs launched for the Super Bowl LV and did that against the Chargers, you see.
