Welcome to the summary of the best new Android apps and live wallpapers that have aired on the Play Store or been viewed by us in the past two weeks or more. Today I have the official launch of the Niagara Launcher, a TikTok app for ATV devices in the UK, and a brand new National Park Service launch. New launchers appear on the Play Store frequently, although most never gain massive popularity thanks to poor craftsmanship or boring designs. The Niagara Launcher is the new kid in the industry and has just released its first stable launch. This launcher in particular offers a unique minimalist design that organizes all of your apps into a list on each side of the screen that is sorted alphabetically, while remaining accessible at all times. You don’t even have to swipe to access it. It’s just there. This makes starting applications very easy, even if you have many installed, which is great for advanced users.

TikTok for Android TV
Android Police Coverage: Goodbye productivity – TikTok is now available for Android TV
TikTok for Android TV is just that, although it is only available in the UK, France and Germany for now. So, if you have the latest Chromecast or Sony, Hisense, TCL, Skyworth, Sharp, Phillips, Xiaomi, Panasonic or Toshiba ATV devices, while simultaneously living in one of the regions listed above, you can skip to this new release. Although I am sure that broader support will be released soon, it is disappointing to see that TV Shield was left out as one of the most popular ATV devices. Also, who wants to watch portrait videos on a wide screen?

National Park Service
The National Park Service comes, you guessed it, from the National Park Service. This is a new, official app for the service and offers guides to all of the more than 420 US national parks. So if you’re planning to camp or explore this summer, you can check out the new National Park Service app. In addition to offering interactive maps, walks around the park and accessibility information on site, you can be sure that the information provided is useful, as it comes directly from the organization’s staff and rangers who are inanimately familiar with these things.

Lingvano: Learn Sign Language
Lingvano: Learn Sign Language is a new application designed to help people learn American sign language. This version offers useful tutorials, as well as an updated dictionary, so if you want to update yourself in any language or just learn a new phrase, this app has the tools to get you there. Of course, it’s worth bearing in mind that you’ll have to spend your money for a $ 20 subscription if you want to use all the features of this release, although if you’re curious, you can take a look to see if the app fits your style of learning.

Bodyguards are labeled as a social media moderator and are completely free to use, but without ads. So, if you’re worried about your kids seeing things on their social media accounts that they shouldn’t be, the bodyguard is here to help. Ideally, the app should protect against cyber bullying, hate speech and toxic content, not that any of these things have been defined. So, if you want an AI to scan your family’s social media content to remove haters from you or your child’s vision, the bodyguard will detect that content, ensuring that your bubble remains intact.

ABE Integrity
ABE Integrity comes from Blizzard and is basically a tool for reporting bad behavior at your sporting events. Basically, this is an app for players to report problems when competing at Blizzard events. So, if you are an e-sports player who has had problems with abuse at previous events, you can now easily report your attackers to Blizzard. Of course, the fact that Blizzard’s events are so abused that this app was necessary in the first place makes me wonder what’s wrong with Blizzard’s handling of its events. After all, the company sets the tone and seeing how the company behaves, it’s not surprising to see why Blizzard’s gaming events are abused enough to require this app.

Manufacturer and linked apps
BofA Insight
BofA Insight clearly comes from Bank of America, and this is essentially a free application for anyone looking for information about the Capital Markets, Shares, Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities. So, if you belong to that bank, you can use this feature whenever you want.

Virtoo by LG
Virtoo by LG is a slightly older release, but as we haven’t talked about the title yet, it’s worth mentioning. This application connects your phone to the PC via bluetooth so that you can use some of the phone’s functions on the PC, such as replying directly to messages. Unfortunately, this app has bugs and therefore the ratings are relatively low, pointing to crash problems or that the app just doesn’t work. So I hope that LG will eventually make an effort to fix this release, as I’m sure LG users would like to connect the phone to the PC reliably.

COVID Applications
COVID Defense
While it appears that Covid’s new app releases are few and far between, Louisiana has finally launched its own Covid tracker, and has already earned the ENS badge on the Play Store. This means that the application actually uses the Google API, so it works over bluetooth as you would expect. So if you happen to live in Sportsman’s Paradise, this is the Covid tracker you are looking for.

Animated wallpapers
FLEXI
Flexi is Maxelus’ latest live wallpaper and, as you can see, this version offers a wavy wireframe background where shapes and colors move to delight the eyes. You are free to try this version, but if you want to use all the customization settings of the app, you will have to spend a few dollars to unlock these features.
