The growth in page traffic year after year at Zillow has increased in Myrtle Beach by more than 29 percent compared to 28 percent nationwide, the analysis showed. The growth in out-of-town page views in Myrtle Beach is 37%, compared to 31.3% nationwide.

Zillow reports that the pandemic’s impacts, such as increased telecommuting opportunities and low mortgage rates, have driven millions of people to think about changing. A new analysis by Zillow shows that Americans are now apparently more interested in living near their favorite beach, lake or ski area, shows the Zillow report.

Home sales in Horry County increased 10 percent at the end of November compared to the same period last year, according to data provided by the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors. The increase for Georgetown County, although on a much smaller scale, is 21% year on year.
