Zdeno Chara leaves the first class early (UPDATED)

For the first time in fifteen years, the defender Zdeno Chara I was playing against the Boston Bruins instead of for they.

But at the end of the first period, Chara took a record in his face and left the game.

UPDATE, 19h58: Good news. Chara is back for the second period.

Chara was marking his former teammate David Pastrnak, who had just returned from his own injury. Chara placed his extra long stick on the disc, making him jump and hit Chara in the face.

Note that Chara does not wear a mask.

The sports trainer came to the ice, but Chara was able to walk through the tunnel on his own.

There were only fifteen seconds left in the period, so no word yet on a return. We will keep you informed of his status.
