Sky TV subscribers who plan to watch or record the broadcast broadcast premiere Zack Snyder’s Justice League We were perplexed this morning with a last-minute schedule change.
Instead of the long-awaited re-launch of the superhero, they were presented with the screening of Sarah Jessica Parker’s 2005 romantic comedy The Family Stone.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League, an extensive four-hour reissue of the 2017 DC superhero movie, was scheduled to air on Sky Premiere at 7am this morning.
However, it was replaced without notice by the comedy set at Christmas. The Family Stone airing in its place.
Justice of Zack Snyder (known colloquially as “Snyder Cut”) is still available to watch on demand, however, on Sky or the streaming service Now.
Fans expressed their bewilderment and frustration at the change in programming on social media, with one viewer describing it as “epic trolling”.
“What’s going on with #SnydersCut?” wrote another. “Set to record from 7am and all I have is The Family Stone. I knew it was a different take, but SJP is no Wonder Woman. “
“Set up my Sky box to record it today at 7 am and Sky chased me by placing The Family Stone instead, ”wrote a viewer. “Someone at Sky obviously has a wicked sense of humor.”
“Wow, #SnyderCut sounds VERY different from the original, according to @SkyCinemaUK”, joked a Twitter user, sharing an image of Family Stone synopsis of the plot, which appeared under the Justice League title.
“I wonder if Sarah Jessica Parker will have a lovely Christmas with her boyfriend’s family? Finally, we can see @ZackSnyder’s true vision! “
The film can be accessed on demand at Sky and Now in the UK and HBO Max in the United States.
