Snyder confirmed on the social media platform Vero in October 2019 that the theatrical release of 2017 Justice League it would have included Martian Manhunter, along with the surprise of revealing that he was secretly General Swanwick. The director’s revelation also included a storyboard by Martian Manhunter.

Later, Lennix said in April 2020 that he would love to portray Martian Manhunter if the Snyder cut was ever made. Of course, HBO Max confirmed that the director’s version Justice League debut on the platform in 2021. Zack Snyder is also reportedly putting pressure on Warner Bros. to launch its four-hour director version of Justice League on the big screen, as well as on HBO Max this year.

“I’m a huge fan and a big proponent of the cinematic experience, and we’re already talking about Justice League playing theatrically at the same time it hits HBO Max, “said Snyder.” Strangely, it’s the other way around [of the trend]. “

In the Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to address this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash – it may already be too late to save the planet from an attack of catastrophic proportions.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent , Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The four-part miniseries debuts on HBO Max in March.
