ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE Black Suit Superman Clip finally released in HD

The 2020 San Diego Comic-Con was a virtual event, not one that was really worth talking about. The big studios failed, and events like DC FanDome and Disney’s Investor Day overshadowed them in the months that followed. Justice Con made its fair share of headlines too, mainly for a new clip that was released by Zack Snyder for his version of Justice League.

Unfortunately, this was released in 480p resolution, and it was not exactly a result for pleasant viewing. Now, however, we finally have an HD version featuring Henry Cavill’s “Black Suit Superman”.

While the British actor was not wearing the darkest costume during filming, Snyder changed the color during post-production. There is no additional footage in this sneak peek, and it is a moment we are familiar with after it was originally released as a deleted scene with Joss Whedon’s cut.

Inside Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure that Superman’s final sacrifice (Henry Cavill) was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) teams up with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from a threat that approaches catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own past to transcend what prevented them, allowing them to unite, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their terrible intentions . The film opens on HBO Max on March 18.

you need to know about the “Snyder Cut” reshoots!

10. How much new film will #SnyderCut have?

JKR3

This is a question that fans have been asking since news of additional reshoots leaked. The hope among fans was that Snyder could end the story he planned to tell in Justice League: Part 2 here, but there’s no way he could have time for that.

“I will say that in the end it will probably be about four or five minutes of additional photography for the entire film,” Snyder confirmed last year. “In the four hours that is the Justice League, maybe four minutes.” This is really not much, but perhaps enough to add some important and highly anticipated scenes.

A sequence remains unlikely, so we will have to accept the #SnyderCut for what it is.

If nothing else, at least Snyder was able to include moments that fans will appreciate, some of which we will cover throughout this article.

9. Ben Affleck was part of the film’s remakes

JKR31

Ben Affleck struggled with personal problems during his time as Batman at DCEU, and it is a role that clearly made the actor unhappy. The fact that he is willing to put on the cape and hood again The Flash it’s a surprise, but Snyder confirmed reports that Affleck also participated in the #SnyderCut remakes.

“I think he forgot how uncomfortable it is, but that’s okay,” the filmmaker joked, referring to Affleck wearing the Batsuit again. “He was incredibly graceful and, again, it’s funny how they just [snaps fingers]. Some of the fantasies, you know, have been in the archives for a while. They were everywhere, in museums and stuff, and we had to get them out. “

The addition of a classic comic book villain probably explains what Affleck mostly spent his time filming, and a recent photo shared on Vero showed the actor back in his Knightmare costume.

That’s a setup, it looks like this version of Justice League spend a good time exploring.

8. Zack Snyder since he hoped to launch the Justice League as a duo

JKR31e

No, no Justice League: Part 2! This film was announced at the same time as the first, but given how expensive Snyder’s projects tend to be, Warner Bros. opted to postpone until he saw how the first part behaved (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a success, but its profit margin suffered thanks to the budget).

With Justice League, it seems that Snyder always planned to make a four-hour film, however, and actually gave a very crazy suggestion to the studio.

“I had the idea, ‘Oh, maybe we could just split it in half and make it into two two-hour films'” the director explained. “My first idea was like, you showed two hours, and then it’s like, maybe a month, and then the next two hours are out. That was one of my ideas.”

He was replaced by Joss Whedon before this conversation could happen, but it shows us how much there will be in this long epic.

7. Carla Gugino as a Catwoman?

Chaos-Walking-2021-Movie-Official-Clip-We-Call-It-The-Noise-Daisy-Ridley-Mads-Mikkelsen-0-59-screens

Inside Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we found a Dark Knight who spent decades protecting Gotham City. Snyder can talk about this story in his #SnyderCut, and he even admitted that, in his mind, Batman came across the Catwoman.

“I would say Carla [Gugino] [as] Cat Woman [is perfect]. You would have to say, there is a flashback ten years ago, where they were one thing, “ Snyder suggested. “And then he had to arrest her, I don’t know what happened, or he had to let her go, and it moved him.”

“And now, who knows what she is doing now, she is managing some kind of international antiques or something, and he needs to retire so they can meet,” he added.

That was just Snyder thinking about what could happen, and not necessarily something he filmed for his director’s edition. However, it would be a really nice surprise to see this meeting unfold in the Knightmare scenes.

6. The new look of the Joker

JKR

Snyder teased Joker’s new look, but previously suggested a revamped look for Prince Clown of Crime in another recent interview.

“I wanted, of course, to honor what was created with him because I thought it was really cool”, the filmmaker teased. “I’m not going to tell you what happens in the little scene, but a little bit of water went under the proverbial bridge between the last time we saw the Joker and this apparition. So he did some … he’s a Joker tired of the road , I think it’s a way of saying that. “

It looks like the Joker will be used in any additional scenes from the Nightmare, probably teaming up with Batman in a “must-have” scenario, where they might fight Superman and his Parademons.

As the image used at the top of this piece suggests, it seems that tattoos have been happily abandoned.

5. The Joker cameo was not in the theatrical version

JKR3

No, no This one theatrical cut.

The Joker is part of Justice League it was something that Snyder specifically added to the version of the movie that will hit HBO Max. Unlike cast members Ben Affleck, Amber Heard and Ray Fisher (all likely needed to finish the filmmaker’s vision), there were no plans for Jared Leto to appear on original theatrical version of Zack Snyder.

“No, he was not,” the filmmaker said when asked if The Joker would be in his original film cut. “There were some things that I thought about doing and thought about taking the pole. There were a number of things that I drew – some of which, I was not able to do, but everything is fine. I am completely satisfied. “

“But that was one of the things that in the years since I started to boil and say, like, that would be a cool thing to do.” That’s exactly why some fans are bothered by the fact that #SnyderCut is something new, and not exactly what the filmmaker intended to release in theaters almost four years ago.

4. One Robin Easter egg (at least)

JKR31e1

While it is doubtful that Robin’s death at the hands of Joker is part of the #SnyderCut, there will be a reference to the Wonder Boy.

“There’s a line from Robin like … there’s an Easter egg from Robin in the Justice League. Yeah, I think you’ll have to wait and see. I can’t say exactly.” As to whether he would like to make more use of Robin at the DCEU, Snyder added: “Was there a plan to have more Robin? In any future story? There would be.”

Reading between the lines, Joker will probably just refer to what happened to Dick Grayson years ago, probably to insult Batman when they come across this bleak future.

Don’t bet on those “Jared Leto’s Joker used to be Robin!” theories working, however.

3. Why Zack Snyder was on board with an HBO Max release

JKR31e1

Warner Bros. he did not treat Snyder well, and there is clearly much more to this story than we were told.

As much as Snyder wanted to share his Justice League cut off from the world, no one could blame Snyder for not wanting to get involved with the studio in any way after Whedon massacred his film. So why go back and finish #SnyderCut for your streaming platform, HBO Max?

“Toby Emmerich called me to say ‘Hey, is that something you would be interested in doing?’ and I wasn’t ready, but I thought about it. One of the great things that made me say “okay” for this huge job, is crazy, but it was this commitment that I made to these actors, [so] let’s finish this, “ He explained. “Let me put it back. Let me honor what we talked about about creation, you know?”

Snyder has fulfilled his wish, and is even being released as a film, rather than a four-part miniseries.

2. Can Justice League 2 become a reality?

JKR31e13

Snyder has an eye on the future and high hopes for some kind of continuation of this story.

Snyder says he talked to voice actor Ray Porter about what’s next for Darkseid, and it looks like the filmmaker is up to … something.

“What will happen when Darkseid comes to Earth? And then? Do you know, this is one thing? And I think, listen, the truth is that I wrote and had and conceived a complete … I know what happens when Darkseid. .. yes. I know what happens, “ he revealed. “To say and speculate about what this is and what would be exciting, I think it is a good thing.”

If #SnyderCut sends subscription numbers to HBO Max beyond the roof, then a sequence of some kind may not be out of the question. Do not trust this, however.

1. Zoom was (appropriately) used for flash scenes

JKR31e134

Much of what Snyder planned for Flash did not go into the Whedon edition, and it is likely that this Justice League will address the concept of time travel. If these Vero posts are any indication, Barry Allen travels into the past after the team is defeated by Steppenwolf and he tries to fix things.

Snyder needed Ezra Miller for his remakes, but that was complicated because the actor was in London working on Fantastic animals 3.

COVID means that Snyder and Miller could not be in the same room at the same time, so a solution was found: Zoom. Snyder sent the team Fantastic animals 3 some sketches of what he needed Miller to do for those reshoots, and three monitors were set up so that the filmmaker could see through his computer (showing the set, Miller and the camera).

Ingenious, huh?
